Where is Holisticare Hospice located?
Holisticare Hospice provides services wherever a patient calls home. It could be a private residence, personal care residence, or a skilled nursing facility.
What is provided?
Holisticare Hospice provides all medication, equipment and supplies related to the terminal illness.
Who are our patients?
Our team of professionals is experienced in caring for patients with:
- Pulmonary Disease
- ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)
- Cardiac Disease
- Renal Failure
- Dementia (including Alzheimer’s disease)
- Overall Physical Decline
To whom are the services billed?
Medicare is the primary payer for most hospice services. When electing the Medicare hospice benefit, patients are relieved of the financial responsibility for services related to their terminal illness. In addition, most insurance companies provide a hospice benefit that resembles Medicare. Patients always maintain the option to revoke the hospice benefit and revert to traditional coverage should their condition improve.
Are all hospices the same?
No, hospice companies, like our patients, are different and unique in their own individual ways. Be sure to carefully and thoroughly interview hospice companies so that you may select the best fit for you and your loved ones.
What makes Holisticare Hospice different?
Holisticare provides care up to 7 days per week, as deemed necessary by the care plan. We focus less on our profit margin and more on the comfort and peace of our patients and their families. Because we are a small, boutique-like hospice we are able to say “yes” when other corporate run hospices say “no”.
What is the SunCatcher Fund?
The SunCatcher Fund is what Holisticare Hospice uses to fund end-of-life wishes. End-of-life is not only a time for reflection but a time when we focus on last minute desires or wishes that were put off until later. Donations are tax deductible as SunCatcher Fund is a 501C3.
